Rev. Peter Owen Jones
Anglican priest, environmentalist & TV presenter
Reverend Peter Owen-Jones is a British Anglican priest, author, environmentalist, and television presenter renowned for his unconventional approach to faith and spirituality. Born in 1957 in London and adopted at six weeks old, Owen-Jones left public school at 16 and ventured to Australia, working as a jackaroo. Upon returning to the UK, he held various jobs, including farm laborer and mobile disco operator, before entering the advertising industry in London. Starting as a messenger boy, he rose to the position of creative director. In his late 20s, feeling a spiritual calling, he left advertising to study theology at Ridley Hall, Cambridge, and was ordained in 1992. Owen-Jones served as rector for parishes in Cambridgeshire before moving to the benefice of Glynde, West Firle, and Beddingham in Sussex. Rev Peter showed his support for our Think Loud single by appearing in the video and continues to support our cause.
