Trevor Horn

Trevor Horn is a celebrated English record producer, musician, and songwriter, acclaimed for his pioneering work in pop and electronic music. Born on July 15, 1949, in County Durham, he first found fame as a member of The Buggles, who topped charts with “Video Killed the Radio Star.” Horn briefly joined the progressive rock band Yes as lead singer, then became a sought-after producer, shaping the sound of the 1980s. He produced hit records for artists like Yes, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, ABC, and Seal. Co-founder of ZTT Records and the Art of Noise, Horn’s avant-garde studio techniques earned him numerous Brit and Grammy awards, cementing his legacy as an industry innovator.
