Yoshie Abe & Yuta Sumiyoshi

For some reason Ian Grant dreamt of Japanese drummers. I googled and discovered KODO. He contacted his good friend Akiko Watanabe whom he had known since his management days with The Stranglers in the 70s. Akiko introduced him to Mio Teycheney-Takashiro. KODO happened to be in London at the beginning of 2024 and Paul Mitchell was lucky enough to go see them at the Barbican in London. Ian's health prevented me going, Paul now had to decide how to edit them in with Hank Marvin and soon to be Roger Taylor (suggested by Hank) but, a moment of serendipty was about to rise and Nigel Dick directed the Let There Be Drums video resulting in 18 very renowned drummers joining the cast.
