Graeme Downie is the Labour MP for Dunfermline and Dollar, elected in 2024. He brings a strong background in the voluntary sector, having previously served as a charity chief executive, and is widely respected for his practical, community-focused approach to politics. In Parliament, he prioritises jobs, skills, and economic renewal, alongside tackling poverty and inequality. Locally, he is a vocal advocate for investment in town centres, improved transport links, and protecting public services. He also champions culture and heritage as drivers of pride and regeneration across Fife. Downie’s work is rooted in social justice, opportunity, and ensuring that economic growth delivers tangible benefits for families, communities, and future generations. Graeme proudly supports Think Loud for Parkinson's and is among those MP's in support of more government contribution to finding a cure.
