Akiko Watanabe

Ian Grant says: "I first met Akiko Watanabe in the 70s during my management days with The Stranglers (Official) and have kept in touch with her ever since. Akiko introduced KODO drummers to me.
She worked in music business from 1966 till 2000 in Japan as an editor-in-chief of Japanese music magazines for 10 years. Also worked as publicist for Robert Palmer in 1979 and for Paul McCartney & Wings Japan Tour in 1980. Wrote 20 books on music and fashion in Japanese language. Now she is happily retired."
